All of our VAs are based in the Philippines. They are highly skilled, English-fluent professionals who work remotely. The Philippines is one of the world's top sources of remote talent — known for strong communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a service-first mindset that fits perfectly with the home-service industry.
When you're matched with your VA, there is a one-time matching fee due at the time of placement. After that, monthly support is paid monthly with a minimum commitment of 3 months. We walk you through all the details clearly on your discovery call before anything is agreed upon.
Matching typically takes 1–2 weeks after your discovery call, depending on your specific requirements. We take the matching process seriously — we'd rather take a little extra time to find the right fit than rush and send you someone who isn't the best match for your business.
We don't just immediately swap people out — we believe the best outcomes come from working through challenges together. If something isn't clicking, we step in to mediate: listening to both the client and the VA, identifying what's not working, and trying to resolve it. If after that process it's still not the right match, we will rematch you with a more suitable VA.
Our VAs start at $6–$8 per hour, and 100% of that rate goes directly to the VA. We do not take a cut from the VA's hourly pay — every dollar you see on your invoice for VA hours is money in your VA's pocket. We believe the people doing the work deserve every bit of it.
Our VAs also receive paid time off (PTO), 13th month pay, and paid US holidays. These are built into how we operate — because taking care of your VA is what keeps them showing up fully for your business.
In the Philippines, 13th month pay is a government-mandated benefit that gives workers one extra month of pay each year, typically paid out in December. It's equivalent to 1/12 of your VA's total annual earnings — so if your VA earns $1,000/month, their 13th month pay would be $1,000 at year-end.
Even though your VA is working remotely for a US-based business, they are still a Filipino worker protected by Philippine labor law. Providing this benefit isn't just a legal consideration — it's a reflection of the kind of working relationship we believe in at ServiceTalent VA.
